Archigraph is the first Armenian ultra-expanded variable sans-serif typeface with a closed aperture. It contains an infinite number of OpenType styles and a wide range of pre-ready styles: from Thin to Black.

There are no suitable Armenian fonts

Despite all the richness of the Armenian fontography, it is notable for the lack of high-quality digital fonts.

The need to develop a typeface that visually and technically must comply with modern technical standards and have a unique and original style is evident.

When developing the Archigraph, I used elegant fonts developed by such authors as Fred Afrikyan, Karo Tiraturyan, Henrik Mnatsakanyan, and Hayk Gortsakalyan. Adjusted dimensions, ideal forms, and painstaking work on studying the basics of Armenian typography provided an excellent foundation for the development of the Archigraph.

Armenian and Latin scripts have the same Phoenician origin, many similar shapes, and logic. The font being developed should ensure the harmonious use of these two languages.

Archigraph contains signs and special symbols. And not so often used, but important characters, symbols, fractions, and superscript numbers.

Simple but with characteristic designs

The resulting font is simple, with slight stroke contrast, generous counters, and bold sidebearings. All this makes the typeface much friendlier than you might think it is when you first see it — it is indeed austere but with a great sense of humor and distinct voice.
